Should I be concerned about mold in my home?
Mold should not be permitted to grow and multiply indoors. When this happens, health problems may possibly occur and building materials, goods and furnishings may be damaged. If mold is growing in your home, you need to clean up the mold and fix the moisture problem. Pure Service Pro will detect all mold problem areas
Are some molds more hazardous than others?
Some types of mold can produce compounds (called mycotoxins) although they do not always do so. Molds that are able to produce toxins are common. In some circumstances, the toxins produced by indoor mold may cause health problem. All indoor mold growth is potentially harmful and should be removed promptly, no matter what type of mold is present or whether it can produce toxins
Pure Service Pro Mold Inspector’s offers 3 levels of inspection services.
These levels are used in the Mold Inspection Standard and Protocols used by Certified Mold Inspectors. Services range from an inspection that is requested in specific client defined areas, to a survey of the entire structure that may uncover various problems in your home or business.
Level 1 Mold Inspection.
The purpose of Limited Mold Sampling is to detect the presence of mold contamination in client defined areas. This service provides a fast economical method to determine if and what types of molds are in that defined area. The limitation of the Limited Mold Sampling service is that other sources of mold may be present in other areas.
Level 2 Mold Inspection
This level of Inspection service utilizes a visual assessment of the entire home, identifies “red flags” for mold, and a limited sampling for mold. If “red flags” are found, the client is advised and provided the opportunity for further sampling. The Mold Screen Inspection is the most popular inspection service in real estate transactions and mold remediation.
Level 3 Mold Inspection
An intrusive inspection, by nature, is more extensive and more expensive than the visual inspection. The intrusive inspection attempts to make as many inaccessible areas accessible through the use of specialized equipment and by removing some barriers. Where it is possible, we will make the area accessible by either drilling a small hole into the suspected area(s) and/or by the removal of fixtures by a nondestructive means in order to view the area with a borescope. This requires that our customers sign a written agreement for the intrusive inspection. Know more about Mold Testing Service
